As part of our ongoing online development of CRM and internal communication tools for the UK's largest housing association, Liverpool Mutual Homes, we have just completed their fully integrated intranet system. Unlike conventional intranet systems that are limited in use, we have developed 'the source' as a system that is multi-functional. Whether it be posting events, accessing the main staff directory, or choosing from hundreds of internal documents, staff can share information and work as a team.

Fresh off the press are the teaser campaign postcards for Silentnight's 2010 Bed Show. Part of a wider campaign, they look great.

Website commission
We are really chuffed to announce that we are in the throws of producing a brand new website for our good friends at Craven Museum & Gallery. The site is primarily an archaeological resource for local community groups but will also promote the extensive collections and ongoing exhibitions. We don't want to spoil the surprise so we won't say anymore other than that although in early stages of visual development, it's looking fantastic.

'Climb Ev'ry Mountain'
On 3rd July, Simon will be heading to the Alps to take part in La Marmotte, a 110 mile cycle race over some of Europe's most famous mountain passes. There's a 5000m climb over Col du Glandon, Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier before finishing with a punishing slog up the 21 hairpin bends of L'Alpe d'Huez made famous in the Tour de France by Lance Armstrong amongst others. Training is coming on apace with other races in the UK including the recently completed Etape du Dales, a 112 mile race through our back yard the Yorkshire Dales, with 4000m of climbing and the Dragon Ride in South Wales with a similar amount of climbing. Along the way Simon will be raising funds for Martin House Hospice, who provide care for children and young people with progressive life limiting illnesses, and provide support to their families. We'll be updating the site with his latest news and progress, so be sure to check back. We've also set up a justgiving account for those of you who can spare a bit of dosh and help Simon raise some money for this worthwhile charity. Donations can be made here, all of which will be greatly appreciated.

The Guardian winner
Our project manager and in-house photographer recently scooped first prize in The Guardian's Weekend Magazine photography competition. With the theme of 'solitude', Nic narrowly made the submission deadline and thought nothing of it until receiving a call from Hannah early Saturday morning congratulating him on being published. As part of a series of images that document the North Yorkshire gas pipeline installation, the chosen image depicts his friend John in one of hundreds of pipelines stored by the roadside. Although obviously chuffed to receive first prize, Nic was also a little perplexed as to why this position no longer brings with it erm...a prize. Great coverage though.

Just Jenny's brand receives BBC praise
Like any client who approaches us for a new brand identity, our tried and tested process involves us really getting under the skin of their business and their objectives. When Jenny Clarkson commissioned us to implement a new brand for her yet to be launched ice cream producing business, this approach was adopted. Just Jenny's Ice Cream was born and within six months saw her receive high praise in the press from Observer food critic Jay Rayner, a primetime BBC Look North feature and importantly for us, a 30 minute BBC Radio 4 Food Programme episode devoted entirely to the brand's success. Like when we first tasted Jenny's whisky and marmalade flavoured ice cream, this was a lovely surprise.
